American Girl Doll & Book Giveaway!! Ends 4/30

Our American Girl story began a little over a year ago, when our youngest daughter began saving to buy her first American girl doll.  It took a birthday and several weeks of chores but she did it. We drove to the American Girl Store at the Galleria to shop for a doll that looked just like her. She named her Lily. During our visit, we also made a stop at the American Girl Salon and got Lily’s ears pierced too! Kaitlyn was so proud of her accomplishment and has taken great care of her American Girl Doll every day since.

I have been so impressed with the quality of American Girl and the positive images that they promote for girls of all ages and interests.

American Girl characters past and present show girls today that they can do great things if they believe in themselves and each other. From a Native American girl living in the Northwest in 1764 to a contemporary girl whose passions inspire action, the characters in every story illustrate the power of determination, imagination, courage, and hope—the same spirit that inspires modern American girls.

I’ve teamed up with a few other great bloggers to giveaway an American Doll +Book to a lucky winner!

Oh my goodness, I love this contest!! My sweet daughter would be a perfect recipient! Everyone always tells her she looks like a real life American Doll and she LOVES to read. We have wanted to buy her a doll for a while, but they are so pricey. If she wins I think she would choose Ruthie or one of the create your own dolls. 🙂
