I am so excited to be posting the first Fitness Friday of 2014! Yesterday we talked about all the ways I was setting myself up for success in my new fitness/health goals this year and one of those ways involves concentrating on what I am fueling my body with. While we typically eat healthy, I knew I hadn’t done well in this area over the holiday break and would be participating in an Arbonne Detox Boot Camp Program using the 30 Day Feeling Fit kit. This post will tell you why I personally chose this program, give you an overview of how it works, and of course I’ll be updating on the blog with my progress along the way.
When I decided to participate in this program, I already knew there were several things about Arbonne that I loved. Arbonne International is a health and wellness company with products that include skin care, baby care, cosmetics, and nutrition products. All the products are certified vegan and contain no artificial flavors, colors, dyes, fragrances, or sweeteners. The 30 day feeling fit kit is designed to help pinpoint possible food sensitivities that you may not be aware of. It will also help the body to detox from addictive foods and the chemicals that are found in the processed products we eat. By shedding the toxins that have been built up in the body and eliminating things that are hard to digest, like gluten and dairy, many people lose weight on the program as well. These factors were all things I knew I could support and would feel confident sharing with others when they asked about my results.

The kit contains 2 Protein Shake Mixes (Vanilla or Chocolate) 2 Energy Fizz Tabs (Citrus or Pomegranate) 2 Fit Chews, Chocolate 2 Herbal Detox Teas 1 Daily Fiber Boost
Since I am participating in this as a Virtual Detox Boot Camp program I also have access to great, local coaches that are available to answer any nutrition questions I may have along the way. They also offer delicious meal suggestions and are even willing to do grocery store tours with us to help us know what to buy. What I love about this is that I am always eating REAL foods. This means that this is a sustainable lifestyle change, not a diet, or something that is dependent upon a chemical product to maintain. This is something that our family has been working towards for a while.
A typical day looks something like this :
Wake Up
- make a cup of herbal detox tea
- energy fizz drink ( instead of coffee)
Breakfast
- Arbonne Protein Shake +Fiber
Snack
- Energy Fizz drink
- Add a Fit Chew, green apple, a few berries, or 8-9 raw nuts
Lunch
- Arbonne Protein Shake +Fiber
Snack
- Energy Fizz drink
- Add a Fit Chew, green apple, a few berries, or 8-9 raw nuts
Dinner
- Whole Food Meal( Main Dishes: lean proteins, high fiber carbohydrates, + non starchy vegetables /Side Dishes: Low glycemic fruit OR healthy fat)
Late Night
- Herbal Detox Tea
*I can also add a recovery Protein Shake in after a tough workout.
