We will be starting off each week in January with delicious, good for you smoothie recipes to give you the energy you need to make those goals a reality!  Today, we have a Peanut Butter and Jelly smoothie made with Jif Peanut Powder that makes this smoothie and everything about your morning routine super simple.

While I know breakfast really is the most important meal of the day, somehow the rush of getting everyone out the door had me skipping breakfast for myself a lot last year. I’m sure a lot of you can relate. This year, I am making sure to start out each morning with a simple protein packed breakfast ensuring I have the best possible start to each day. Since planning for success is key, I made a list of all the smoothie ingredients I would need on my next shopping trip to Walmart. Most everything was in the produce section with the exception of the Jif Peanut Powder which was easily found in the regular peanut butter section, on the top shelf (only the best for our smoothies!)

Peanut Butter and Jelly Smoothie

Start drinking the sandwich that your kids love to get your day going! This Peanut Butter and Jelly smoothie, made with Jif Peanut Powder is protein packed and has an added serving of greens. Jif Peanut Powder is made from just one ingredient – fresh roasted peanuts – and has no added sugar or salt like competitors.

Jif Peanut and Butter Smoothie Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 large banana (sliced, frozen)
  • ½ cup fresh or frozen berries
  • 1 Handful of leafy greens (baby spinach, kale, etc.)
  • 1 cup Silk Almond Milk
  • 3 tbsp Jif Peanut Powder

Peanut Butter Jelly Smoothie preblend

Directions: Combine the milk and fruit together in a blender. Mix. Add the Jif Peanut Powder and greens. Blend until smooth. Volia!
